WEFOMA, your partner for tool and mould manufacturing

WEFOMA Werkzeug- und Formenbau GmbH, founded in 1975 in Bietigheim-Bissingen, specialises in the development and manufacturing of die-casting moulds as well as punching and forming tools. The company premises have been expanded on multiple occasions, and the number of employees, initially just 70, is constantly increasing.

Only with highly motivated and highly qualified employees, working with the latest technical equipment, does WEFOMA maintain the high quality of its products and the continual development of innovative tools and moulds.

WEFOMA doesn’t just produce end products, but is also renowned internationally for its problem-solving abilities. From building progressive tools and transfer tools to making die-casting moulds and deburring tools, our experience of over 35 years enables us to develop and produce even the most intricate tools and moulds.

Design and development carried out by the company itself

Since 2001, the design of WEFOMA moulds as well as tools has been carried out on the company’s own modern Catia V5 workstations. The innovative use of CAD technology ensures that design processes are always delivered on time and in the highest quality possible.

Projects can be generated in the following formats:

Native formats: Catia V5, Siemens NX
Via the direct interface: Catia V4, Solid Works
Neutral formats Step, Iges, DXF, DWG
Native formats: Pro-E, Creo via external design partner

WEFOMA is able to read all common CAD formats. However, for the smoothest design process, Catia V5, Siemens NX and Step data is preferred.
For a problem-free data exchange, e-mail and a separate web portal are available for use.
